The overview of your project goes here. This case study came from a 2-week exercise during my UX Design Immersive program. Please note that this was for project purposes only and this was used for hypothetical use and completely fictious.

  • I conducted in-depth research to understand the problem from different perspectives. The full UX process was applied in order to create a solution and design the app.

THE
PROBLEM

Atlanta isn't know as a "soccer town" but the city has a new Major League Soccer team. The new team needs to build brand awareness, increase excitement, and establish a loyal fan base for their 2017 inaugural game day approaches.

THE
SOLUTION

Less is more in terms of the amount of content we include on a page. Our group collectively sought to develop a design that would prominently display recent and upcoming game information, statistics, and tangential event offerings that fans of this soccer club love.

 
 

PROCESS
DEVELOPMENT

Research

 The first step was diving into research. Asking lots of questions as there were many unknowns. How are soccer fans? What other teams are there to compare? What are the key components that the fans want to see in an app of their favorite team? Leading user interviews with fans and following common themes to create user personas to further drive the new experience to ensure it will be both on game days as well as off the field.

Sketch and Design

Using the key components found in our research of fans both on and off of the field. I was able to start sketching out wire frames that turned into low fidelity into high fidelity screens.

Iterate

I found it very important to continuously iterate throughout the process, always designing, validating, and iterating until a my team and I found the best market to solution that was easy to use and encouraged fan engagement.

First Iterations

Our first version prioritizes the optimization of enhancing fan engagement with an events board, a message board, and quick access to details about the team.
